Catching Up

I haven't been taking too many pictures lately so I haven't been blogging much. But we have been busy. Randy had Lasik surgery and has been enjoying life without glasses. I have been getting ready for some upcoming bow parties and festivals. Audrey seems to finally "get" that school is about doing the assignment as the teacher asked and not with her own creative spin, so we have been getting good updates from school on her. She continues to want to be an artist or a rock star. She was very excited about a leprechan visiting the school on Tuesday and told us all about all the mischeif he caused. Kelsey has announced that she is going to be a doctor and will take care of Mommy and Daddy (Audrey said she would rather not go to Kelsey's doctor's office). Kelsey loves school so we can imagine she will be a doctor.
We all have bikes now so we have been trying to ride at the Gwinnett parks. Audrey is riding a 20 inch with no training wheels newly equipped with a basket and horn. Kelsey is riding Audrey's old bike with training wheels. She can pedal for miles but the hills still give her some problems.
This is Audrey playing another new game in our house. It is like the old labyrinth game where you tried to get the ball to the end without it falling in the holes along the way. This version is played on Daddy's cell phone electronically.

Kelsey loves songs. Last night she was "playing" the piano and singing. She started out with "How Firm a Foundation" since we have been practicing that in primary. Her finale was her preschool's prayer song that they sing before snack.
And then I realized I didn't post any snow pictures from the beginning of the month. So here is Kelsey on the porch...she wasn't a big fan of being cold and wet in the snow.

Here is Randy and Audrey sledding down our giant hill.

Here is an action shot of Randy whiping out and Audrey already on her feet ready to go back to the top of the hill.

Here are the girls, my dad and I on the back deck (this is right when the snow started falling).

Nice! Kaydee says she is going to be a doctor too...maybe she and Kelsey can go into practice together. :-)

And I guess I know who I can call on if we don't have a pianist for primary! ;-)
