After 14 days of being away from work, I am back. To catch everyone up on our great Christmas....
Performances: Aunt Ginny had a FHE where Audrey and her cousins performed. Audrey had practiced with them and she was super excited to sing in front of so many people.
On Christmas Eve, Kelsey gave her own performance of Jingle Bells. This time Audrey performed the 12 Days of Christmas song and dance (learned in her kindergarden class).
Chrismas Sunday we tried to get a picture of the girls in their Christmas dresses but it just wasn't working out. It makes it a little more difficult when they decide that the cat needs to be in the picture too.
We also went to the Stone Mountain Christmas with Ma and Papa, Aunt Ginny and Uncle Bryan and their family and 20 thousand of our other closest friends (it was packed!). Audrey and Kelsey both loved the snow angel.
Kelsey waiting for the snow angel to fly across the sky and make it snow (it was around 70 degrees, but snow did fall). Kelsey cried after she flew away, not because she was scared but because she loved the snow angel so much and didn't want her to fly away (and maybe because it was 10:00 at night).
Audrey and Daddy after a game of crazy 8's (and waiting for the snow angel).
Kelsey enjoying her cookie she decorated.
Leaving food out for the reindeer.
Christmas morning showing off their webkins. These animals are so addicting...I just love playing on the computer with them! We also had to write a note on Christmas Eve to Santa. Kelsey woke up screaming around 10:00. She heard me feeding the cat and thought it was Santa and just freaked. So we left a note for Santa to be extremely quiet and he was not allowed to say "ho, ho, ho" because Kelsey would be scared. Of course, then Audrey was upset so we added a P.S. to the note saying he could "think it." Christmas morning I heard Audrey trying to convince Kelsey to come look at the presents but Kelsey wouldn't get out of bed. Audrey was trying hard to convince her that Santa was not there and that she didn't need to be scared. We had fun opening all the loot Santa left and then we had a big lunch/dinner and spend the day playing with the new toys.
After Christmas we went for a quick trip to Valdosta to see Uncle Greg and Aunt Rita. We also were able to see Aunt Raven, Uncle Mike and thier girls. We jumped on the trampoline, played outside, had a Nerf gun fight, and introduced Audrey to an Xbox.
